Opening of the Western Ukrainian branch in Ivano-Frankivsk

On May 6, 2024, with the support of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, in particular the Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine for Executive Service Andriy HAYCHENKO, the opening of the Western Ukrainian branch of the Research Center for Forensic Expertise in the Field of Information Technologies and Intellectual Property took place in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk.
The Deputy Minister of Justice of Ukraine for Executive Service Andriy HAICHENKO, Deputy Head of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration Vadym SOZONIK, and Director of the National Center for the Study of Criminal Justice in the Field of Information Technologies and Intellectual Property Mykhailo MOZHAEV welcomed the participants of the event. They noted in particular that the opening of the Center’s branch in Ivano-Frankivsk is a significant contribution to the expansion of the extensive network of scientific and research institutions of forensic examination and providing the Western Ukrainian region with qualitatively new expert capabilities and improving the activities of the forensic examination community. In difficult wartime times, we all root for Ukraine and make every effort to bring about such a long-awaited victory over the Russian invaders, so we are happy to share our achievements and contribute to ensuring Ukrainian justice with high-quality forensic expertise in all areas of our state.
Also, the event was attended by the heads of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and Regional Council, heads of regional law enforcement agencies, notaries and lawyers, and a scientific and practical seminar was held on the topic “Current issues of inheritance acceptance: analysis of legislative changes, features of inheritance acceptance during war, disputes about inheritance acceptance.”
