Technical examination of documents

The objects of technical document examination include:

– travel documents (tickets for travel by any means of transport and for the carriage of goods);

– documents proving identity, events, education and work experience;

– documents relating to financial transactions (savings books, cheque books, deposit books, insurance policies, licences, etc.);

– materials used in the production of documents, including paper, ink, ballpoint pen refill, paint, etc., carbon paper, and ribbons for typewriters;

– technical equipment for producing documents (writing implements, printing devices, reproduction equipment).

To determine the method of changing the text of the document, an examination of the relevant objects is carried out:

– stroke paste;

– papir, which is coreg;

– features for removing stains and the like;

In addition, before the objects of investigation there are also objects that are not documents in the direct sense of the word:

– products from paper and cardboard (containers, reels, containers for sanitary and hygienic purposes, for packaging and dehydration, parts of industrial and technical and consumer products).

Types of examinations that the Center conducts:

– establishing the facts of making changes before replacing the document with the addition method, etching, erasing, etc., as well as updating this primary replacement.

– renewal of the document, which over time has lost marks on the surface (weakly visible or faded invisible strokes).

– set the method for preparing the document or its parts.

– identify seals and stamps behind their imprints.

– carry out an examination of dismantled documents (identifying the whole behind the parts of the document).

Nutrition, as evidenced by technical examination of documents:

– In what way are recordings recorded (either by a writing device or from old copying equipment, or by editing)?

– What is the signature with advanced technical preparation, with additional facsimile?

– In what sequence are the strokes of handwritten notes and other details that change?

– How often were handwritten notes altered by additions, additions to adjacent strokes, and the addition of some strokes on top of others?

– How many changes were made to the handwritten notes by erasing, etching, erasing, etc.?

– What is the replacement for records that were deleted by the way: etching, erasing, etc.?

– What is the replacement for masked records?

– What is the place for suppressed records?

– What about the requirements for document forms in the installation process?

– Have you ever had to replace the seals in your passport (another bound document)?

– Was there a need to replace (re-stick) the photograph (stamp, label) in the document?
